Commissions

I love working on bespoke commissions.  They feel like a true collaboration where vision and design come together to create something wonderful, that would never have existed without your involvement.

Step 1 - Design

To start the commission process, simply send me an email with your ideas, including:

Type: earrings, necklace.

Scale: a statement piece or something more subtle and easy to wear.

Metals: gold, silver, niobium or mixed metals.

Gemstones or pearls: would you like to include gemstones or pearls, if so, what type or colour.  Gemstones can also be included in the form of gemstone beads.

Example: if your idea is based on an piece of my jewellery that you would like customised, please include a screen shot of the design.  Commissions must of course be in keeping with my design aesthetic.  

Deadline: whether you are working to a specific deadline eg a birthday.  Depending on the item, a commission may take 4 - 8 weeks to design, source, make and hall mark the piece.

Budget: a ball park figure is very useful.  Please note, commissions start at £250.

Step 2 - Quotation

I will send you a commission form which captures all of the details of the commission.  Once you are happy to proceed, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total fee will be become payable.  Once received, I will commence the sourcing and making process, and  it will not be possible to cancel your order.

The remaining balance will be due in full, once the item is ready, prior to collection or delivery.

Step 3 - Enjoy

Bespoke commissions take between 4 - 8 weeks depending on the complexity of the design.  Once it is completed it will either be hand delivered or posted special delivery guaranteed depending on your preference and location. 

Now it is time for you to enjoy your new item of jewellery!
