Iolite and baroque pearl French hook earrings

Flawless iolite gemstones and creamy white baroque pearls encased in 18ct gold vermeil.  

The name iolite derives from the Greek word ios, meaning violet.  It is often called the water sapphire due to its deep purple hues.  This beautiful gemstone is thought to enhance intuition due to its association with the third eye chakra, located between the eyebrows, and its association with the colour purple.

These elegant earrings can be worn every day, and will take you from day to night.

Materials

Oval faceted iolite gemstones.  Fresh water baroque pearls. 18ct gold vermeil, plated over sterling silver.

Dimensions

The oval iolite gemstones are 6mm x 4mm.  Each pearl is approximately 8mm x 6mm. Each earring is 24mm from the top of the french hook to the bottom of the baroque pearl, allowing the pearls to sit just below the earlobe.
